How to register if you are sole trader?
In this post, we are going to explain to you how to register as self-employed worker in Spain.

- In-person in offices. Remember, you need an appointment!
- Online – you need your personal digital certificate
- With specialist in center PAE
2. Where to go?
- Social Security – Seguridad Social
- Spanish Tax Agency – Agencia Tributaria
In order to get a reduced payment, you should first register at SS and after that go to Spanish Tax Agency
3. Documents to fill out?
- Form TA.0521 at Tax Agency
- Model 036 or 037 (it’s a short model of 036) at Tax Agency
4. Documents to present?
- DNI/NIE
- Bank account number for monthly payments
5. How long does the register take?
At the moment you will be registered and can issue the invoices from that date.
Congratulations! You are officially self-employed.
